Common Questions

A Few Things People Often Ask

Do I have to be Muslim to visit or ask a question?

Not at all. Neighbors of every faith and background are welcome to visit the masjid, observe a prayer, or ask the Imam a question — there's no expectation to convert or participate.

What should I wear if I visit?

Modest, comfortable clothing is appreciated — think covered shoulders and knees. We keep a few scarves on hand for anyone who'd like one, and shoes come off before entering the prayer hall.

Is my question kept private?

Yes. Questions sent through this page go directly and confidentially to the Imam — they are not shared publicly or with anyone else.

Can I ask about something unrelated to religion?

Of course. Many people reach out about family, personal struggles, or simply wanting someone to talk to. The Imam is glad to listen either way.
